Review :

The scenario is like mid 2000's california vibe, and the film follows "Christine" who basically calls her self lady bird. Chrsitine actions and behavior literally acts like my own personality, so bascially shes goes to a Catholic high school which is the last year there and she wants to escape her boring home-town and get into an east coast collage. A lot of reviewers say Lady Bird hits close to home — especially the mother‑daughter tension, teenage insecurities, wanting more than what you have, social comparisons, etc. Several mention tearing up, especially in the final scenes or oxymoronic moments of love + conflict. Voice of awkwardness, of trying to find identity, a lot of small details: acne, arguments, trying to fit in, yearning to leave while feeling guilt/loyalty. This kind of emotional realism is something many reviewers appreciate. i also adore the part at the begining/opening of the movie christine and her mom were talking nicely peacefully but then christine talks about her collage plans. She wants to go to a east coast collage to a "Place with culture", but her mom rants about "financial problems/struggles". And thier conversation became downhill, christine was expecting her mom to feel happy about her plans, but it didnt go well and it escalates quickly. and her mom (Marion) criticizing Christine’s outlook and attitude, and Christine accusing her mother of lacking warmth. and then christine opens the car door and jumps out, and the next scene revealing her with a pink cast on her arm, But then again i really love this movie :)!
